Sidewalk Chalk Project

Sidewalk Chalk Project
Andrew Beckwith

In the photo, our group drew our image in the courtyard.
In the first week of high school, during e-COMM 2nd hour, we did an activity where we were in a group and decided on a image that represented us as a person. We would then sketch our idea on a piece of paper and combine everyone in the groups' image into a bigger picture that would make sense and be creative. On the last day, we would go into the courtyard and draw our image with chalk with different colors. The photo on the top is of our group drawing our image together. All of our images had meanings.

Ava's image was a pair of dance shoes because she dances all the time. Annabelle's picture was a cheer horn because she is a cheerleader at OWN. My image was a baseball and baseball bat because baseball was one of my passions growing up. Finally, Kate's image was a paint brush and paint because she loves to draw. All of our colors depended on what our image was about, so the dance shoes were pink for example. For our flag we decided to use a shield.

This image is showing our full project finished.

In the end the collaboration went well. We got everything done that we needed to and had lots of spare time. Nothing went that bad during the project. What I would do differently in the next team project would be to add more to our project. The reason is because my image was pretty bland in this project that we did.
