Semester 1 Final Project
Semester 1 Final Project
Overview
My overview for this project was that for a final project, it was simple at some parts and difficult at other parts. For example, the easy parts were getting the past projects and copying and pasting the write-ups. However the hard parts were formatting the page and listening to the video while simultaneously watching the video and having to do the same thing he is doing. My general process was to a spilt screen, where the youtube video/ web browser on the left and the Dreamweaver on the right. I would stop the video once a big step was involved.
What I Learned
There were many things that I learned along the way. This project was the first time I used Dreamweaver, and I learned that it is a very complex program to use as a beginner. After using it the past few days during the project it became easier to get familiar with. This was also the first time I really created a website. With the videos that we watched it made the creating part less complicated. Web designing is pretty simple once you can get the hang of it.
How I Thought I Did
Overall, I thought I did pretty well considering this is my first time making a website. The experiences I will draw will be to take it one step at a time. When you go to fast, it is likely you will miss a step that could be important. It is also helpful that if you are confused, ask a teacher or anyone else around you for help.
General Thoughts and Conclusions
My thoughts are that this project was very simple if you can comprehend or do things quickly. It is a little annoying to have to switch back and fourth between chrome and Dreamweaver, but the project was simple. What made it easier was the videos they put in classroom. I made the project harder for myself by messing up a few of the steps. Overall the project took a little bit of stress off of finals week.
